Damp Porch Wall That is Single Skin. I have a small porch with a single skin brick wall, I have hung coats against this wall and now I have discovered they are all mouldy. I'm guessing that the bricks are damp and this is what has caused the mould. I'd really like to be able to use the porch for year round storage If you do not want to loose space internally you're only option is to insulate externally and render.
